Paying homage to Herb, —The Golden Carrot's rabbit! Wear him on your favorite chain, bracelet, or have him fixed to one of your Seamless Strands!The story ofHerb: As the idea of The Golden Carrot was evolving, Nicole envisioned a shop that embodied the whimsy and warmth of a Beatrix Potter illustration. The original location in Hoboken, New Jersey, with 100 year old exposed bricks, plastered walls, white washed wood furniture and an abundance of florals, felt like you had stepped into the setting of one of Beatrix's most beloved tales. Naturally, a sweet and cuddly lover of carrots (or carats, *wink wink*) felt like the most appropriate of mascots for such a place, and thus Herb was born. Nicole has a propensity for naming all things, animals and inanimate objects alike, so when it came to the golden bunny she adorned the shop's window with, "Herb" felt right. This sweet little bun is a symbol of so many things - Birth, abundance, creativity and good luck to name just a few - May Herb bring joy to all who wear him!
